ADAS Advanced Driver Assistance Systems is the camera and sensor package behind lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise, forward-collision warning, and similar features. On most late-model vehicles those cameras sit on or behind the windshield. When the glass comes out, even a millimetre of change in camera angle can throw the system off.
